About

In this program, Mr. Robert Bell, and the other members of the 12th USCHA will set up a camp site and cannon.  They will fire the cannon and give a living history presentation on camp life and how the cannon crew operates. Mr. Bell will also explain the impact these colored troops had on the Civil War and its outcome.  There are no admission fees for this event. However, there is a fee for the tours in the museum and monument.  There is a gift shop for those who wish to purchase souvenirs and keepsakes.  For any/all questions, please contact Ron Sydnor, Park Manager at (270) 889-6100.
