Operated by the Friend of Genera Butler- This antebellum home, built in 1859 features an 18th and 19th century collection and archeological exhibit from the 1790 Butler Cabin. The house is a three-bay, two story structure built in the Greek revival style. This area was once called "Butler's Grove;" which was a place that held political rallies, encampments, and working farm.
The home is open for tours Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend Friday- Sunday from 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. You may call ahead during the off-operational hours if you have a party of 10 or more- In doing so, please allow 5 working days for Friends of Butler to get back in touch as to honoring your request.
