Is your resolution, this year, to get fit? Then start 2018 off on the right foot, with a hike on New Year's Day. The Park Interpreter will be your guide on the Cedar Run and Gobbler's Trace Trails as it meanders across the ridge line and through a cedar forest. We will end the hike at the bison viewing area, with the hope of seeing the Big Bone bison herd!
This moderate hike will be around 2 miles, on relatively uneven terrain. Be sure to dress warmly in layered clothing. You may want to bring a water bottle, snacks, binoculars, a camera, your family, and your leashed dog. Meet at the museum parking lot @ 1:00 p.m. to begin hiking. This program is free and open to the public; subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
