DETAILS:

Just over 31 miles will be covered on guided hikes taking place once a month, March through September, on both Kentucky State Park, Kentucky State Nature Preserve, EKU research property, and National Park land. All hikes will be within 70 miles of Pine Mountain State Resort Park. Lunch option available for longer hikes. Transportation available for first 10 people registered per hike

$35 for registration for all hikes and a t-shirt
$25 for 3 hikes and t-shirt
$10 for 1 hike

Registration for persons doing all hikes, or for t-shirt ordering must be in by April 1st.

This years hikes include:

March 25: Living stairway memorial to Fern Garden to Ridge Runner to Honeymoon Falls      4.2 miles Moderate 

April 22: FREE HIKE, open to the public!       
Cumberland Gap NHP: Pinnacle to Sugar Run to Harlan Road to Fort McCook loop                      6.9 miles Strenuous
Led with Cumberland Gap Rangers

May 13: Cumberland Falls: Eagle falls  
2 miles 

June 24: Lilley Cornett Woods (largest stand of old growth in the state)                                          4 miles Moderate 

July  22: Clear Creek Hollow trail                           
1.5 miles each way. Easy     

August 26: Rock Hotel to Chained Rock and back via Timber Ridge
3 miles Moderate

September 16: FREE HIKE, open to the public!
Cumberland Gap NHP: Hensley Settlement via Chadwell Gap                                                            8 miles Strenuous. Led with Cumberland Gap Rangers
