Summer Archery Lessons Louisville, KY

DETAILS:
Archery is a sport to be enjoyed by all people, regardless of almost all sizes and abilities.  It is a very safe sport when following the correct procedures.  Archery is a sport that has been around for thousands of years, why not get involved?

Here at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park our NASP certified instructors will be offering beginning archery lessons on the correct and safe way to shoot.  The students will learn the eleven steps to correctly shooting a bow, laid out by the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).

This year at E.P. Tom Sawyer we will be offering three sessions of lessons; one in April, one in July, and the last one in October. This listing is for the July session only. The sessions will  consist of four one-hour lessons that will be held at the Activities Building in the Gymnasium. The park will supply all of the equipment needed.

We will host

  • adults ages 14 and up (currently full) on Thursday nights, beginning on July 7th, 2016
