Sutler and Food Vendor Information

We look forward to this event as a living history weekend at the park and an opportunity to educate the public about life in the 19th century, military and civilian, as well as commemorating Davis’ birth at this spot in Kentucky. We hope you will consider participating. We will make room at this event for 3-5 food vendors and up to 10 sutlers. If you are interested in an application to attend the event, please call the park or email the park manager: Mark.doss@ky.gov

Food Vendors

You are responsible for collecting and paying state taxes and obtaining any local permits needed to sell food. Adherence to state and local laws regarding safe food handling and inspections is strictly enforced. More information is on the food vendor application as well as the contract for your participation.

Sutlers

You will be responsible for collecting and paying state taxes for selling your wares at this event. As at other State Park events, we ask that you keep your goods within certain guidelines as to quality and appropriateness. An expectation of goods clause will be in the contract. We also request that you not sell items that are in direct competition with the gift shop at the park. Contact the park or email the park manager: Mark.doss@ky.gov if you have any questions.
