Yatesville Lake State Park Yatesville Lake State Park is a 2,300 acre mountain reservoir located in Eastern Kentucky.

The Mary Ingles Trail System

Both a Community Millennium Trail and a National Recreation Trail, this trail is located at the marina area. The MITS is made up of six separate trail loops. Three rugged, wooded hiking trails, two exercise paths, and one ADA self interpretive nature trail.

The Pleasant Ridge Trail System

This trail is made up of five separate trails. Each trail is a wooded nature trail that extends through the campground area towards the Yatesville Lake.

The Yatesville Lake Multi Use Trail

This is a large, 20+ mile trail located near the campground area that is open to hikers, backpackers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders alike. This public trail is not on Yatesville Lake State Park property.

The 19th Hole Trail

This is a short, well paved nature trail located near the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.

No trail fees for any trail.

Trail Regulations

Hikers assume all risks in the natural areas. Be prepared. Help preserve the park’s natural resources.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Carving or damaging rock formations and trees
- Hunting or disturbing wildlife
- Collecting or digging for artifacts
- Picking flowers or harming plants
- Firebuilding and camping
- Alcoholic beverages
- Unleashed pets
- Littering
- Motorized vehicles, biking, and horseback riding off official park trails
- Rappelling and rockclimbing
- Hiking after dark

For Your Safety:

- Do not hike alone.
- Wear proper clothing and footwear.
- Take a park map.
