State Resort Park This resort park is located near Kentucky’s famous cave area, which includes Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest cave system in the world!

Louie B. Nunn Lodge

Standard and accessible rooms have two queen beds. Two of the six accessible rooms have roll-in showers. The lodge is three floors with step access. All guest rooms have a balcony and provide either a lake or wooded view.

Lodge Vicinity Cottages

(Sleeps 10, accessible sleeps 8): Cottages have a living room/dining room combination, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bathrooms include hair dryers, shower and tub. All cottages feature air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave, cable television, telephone, iron/ironing board, linens are provided. Each bedroom has two double beds; a sleeper sofa is located in the living room. Cottages are set on hillsides with walkways and steps. A front porch and rear balconies offer chairs and loungers to enjoy the scenic views. A grill is located near the cottage.

Beach Cottages

(Sleeps 8): Located a short distance from the lodge, Beach Cottages offer lake or scenic views. Cottages have a living room/dining room combination, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bathrooms include hair dryers, shower and tub. Cottages feature air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave, cable television, telephone, iron/ironing board, linens are provided. Each bedroom has two queen beds, accessible cottage has three queen beds, one sleeper sofa. Cottages offer a deck with loungers and chairs and a screened-in porch with table/chairs and ceiling fan, a grill is located near the cottage. Beach cottages are equipped with gas-operated fireplaces. Cottages have short walkways with steps. One accessible cottage available without steps.

Accommodation Guidelines

  • Ice machines are located in rooms marked “Vending” near rooms 110, 210 and 310 on guest floors. Please be considerate of other guests and do not fill coolers from these units. Snack and drink machines are located near ice machine on the second floor as well as the lobby.
  • Room/cottage rates quoted are subject to applicable state and local taxes and are for up to the number of occupants specified (2 for lodge rooms, 4 for cottages). Each additional adult will be charge $10 per night; children 16 and under stay at no charge. Cribs available at no charge. SPECIAL RATE NOTE: An additional $10 will be added to all Friday and Saturday night rentals for the period of April 1 – October 31.
  • All lodge rooms receive daily maid service. Daily maid service is not provided in cottages; towels are furnished daily, linens upon request. Basic cooking utensils and dishes are furnished in cottages.
  • Check in times are neither set nor guaranteed. Our goal is to have all accommodations available by 4:00 p.m., Central Time, but circumstances beyond our control may prevent this in rare instances. Specific accommodations are not guaranteed, however, every effort will be made to honor your requests.
  • Fire codes do not permit cooking in any room or on balconies/porches at Louie B. Nunn Lodge.
  • Kentucky Department of Parks does not permit pets in accommodations. Extra charge for cleanup and/or damage repair may be levied.
  • Check out times: Rooms: 12 Noon; Cottages: 11 AM (Central Time). Additional charges may be levied for unapproved late checkouts.
