28 Lodge Rooms: 26 with 2 double beds and 2 handicapped accessible with 1 queen bed. Each room has its own private balcony over-looking a beautiful wooded area.
Lodge rooms are complete with hair dryers, irons & ironing boards, coffee-maker, 27” television, all-purpose table with 2 chairs, dresser and night stand. Amenities include: soap, shampoo & Bluegrass Blend coffee from John Conti.
11 Two-Bedroom Cottages: 10 cottages have 2 queen beds in each bedroom, 2 baths, living room and kitchen/dining area. 1 cottage has 2 double beds in each bedroom, 1 bath, living room, kitchen and dining area. 9 cottages are equipped with wood burning fireplaces (firewood is provided). 1 cottage is handicapped accessible. All cottages have dishwasher, microwave, charcoal grill, tableware and cooking utensils. Linens are provided daily.
All accommodations now have electronic card keys for better security.
Pets are not allowed (with the exception of service dogs).
Meeting Space
Two Meeting Rooms: The William Jason Fields Meeting Facility can accommodate 200 guests for banquets and 350 with theatre seating. It was renovated in 2006 (new carpet, paint, and wall covering). This room can be divided for smaller groups.
Always keep in mind the ultimate breakout sessions in a cave or on a canoe ride!
There are two picnic shelters and a 250 seat amphitheatre available by reservation.
Tierney’s Cavern Restaurant is located on the lower level of our main lodge (elevator available). Enjoy Kentucky cuisine while viewing the wooded area that surrounds the lodge. Our Chef III, Terry Popplewell, has been with the park system since 1984 and enjoys working with the guests who visit Carter Caves. His talents range from smoked apple pork chops to homemade Italian specialties. Chef Popplewell is also well known for his wonderful desserts. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily.
