Celebrating their heritage, the shop offers a large selection of elk, deer and other wildlife figurines also coal miner and train figurines.

Picnicking & Playgrounds

Picnic tables, grills, and playgrounds are located throughout the park for the perfect family outing. Picnic shelters are located at the campground.

Fishing

For "reel" excitement, Jenny Wiley is the place to be! Dewey Lake has largemouth and hybrid striped bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie.

Fun-filled days await you on Dewey Lake! The boat dock offers 199 open slips, three launching ramps, and pontoon boat rental. Fee charged for boat rental.

Disc golf is played like traditional golf, but instead of using a ball and clubs, players throw a flying disc or frisbee®. The sport which was first played formally in the early 1970’s, shares with “ball" golf the goal of completing a hole in the fewest number of strokes-or throw!

Disc golf shares many of the same joys, and challenges as traditional “ball” golf, whether you’re sinking a long putt or hitting a tree halfway down the fairway. However, there are a number of key differences. First, disc golf at Jenny Wiley does not require a greens fee or a cart rental. With disc golf, you never get stuck with a bad “tee time.” Disc golf can be enjoyed by people of all ages, male and female, and is an inexpensive sport.

Discs are available for sale or rent at the park.

View Jenny Wiley Disc Golf Club website.

For an excellent "ball" golf course, Stonecrest Golf Course is located adjacent to the park. Call for details at (606) 886-1006.

Acquaint yourself with the natural beauty of Jenny Wiley State Resort Park on the hiking trails. The trails provide over ten miles of hiking for all ability levels. The Jenny Wiley Trail Heritage Byway embraces a 154-mile loop drive in eastern Kentucky. The route provides easy access to more than 60 miles of existing recreational facilities, such as hiking trails. View Trail Information.
