Kentucky Dam Village
State Resort ParkKentucky Dam Village is one of three state resort parks near Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, a 170,000-acre wooded peninsula bound by Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

Gathering of Eagles
1/16/2009 to 1/18/2009

Forage in to the western Kentucky wilderness to learn about eagles and view them in their natural habitat. The weekend includes two different field trips by van or boat, viewing of an eagle nest and educational programs. Land Between the Lakes and Ballard County Wildlife Refuge Management Area provide unique chances to view eagles and other wildlife. Different tour options available for both days. Registration fee varies based on selected tours.

Easter Celebration

Celebrate Easter with a day full of food while you enjoy our Easter Buffet served from 12 Noon until 8:00 p.m.This year's Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the KY Dam Village Employees and several local area businesses. Campers Appreciation and Earth Day Celebration

Camp two nights for the price of one! Our weekend will feature activities from our Kentucky Heritage and Culture with games, crafts and entertainment. Bring a program to Wickliffe Mounds State Park for a discount on tours and museum entry. Enjoy several quilt shows that will be in the area including Paducah's National Quilt show.

36th Annual Buffalo Dinner & Native American Heritage

Once again it is time for a tradition at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. For over three decades they have held a Buffalo Dinner. Our Buffalo dinner includes a variety of Buffalo recipes, chicken and fish, assorted vegetables, salads and a dessert bar. Enjoy a weekend filled with opportunities to learn about the Native American culture through demonstrations, storytelling, bow making,hands-on pottery making, corn husk doll making, and basket weaving. Spring Craft Festival

An outdoor-juried craft show located on a point over looking beautiful Kentucky Lake. The show features handcrafted items crafted by artists from Kentucky and neighboring states. Artist demonstrations, and traditional Kentucky festival food mark this weekend "Made in Kentucky".

KY Dam Village - Free Fishing Fundamentals - Free

The recreation crew will be there to provide pointers and demonstrate the correct ways to cast and offer fishing tips. This event is free and open to the public! Fishing will be from 8-11 a.m. and a casting contest will begin at 11 a.m. with a PRIZE going to the winner!!
This event is geared toward ages 7 and up.

Breakfast with Santa
