Group Field Trips

Lake Barkley offers year-round programs for school groups, through REACH packages (Labor Day to Memorial Day) or individually arranged visits. Our park naturalist and recreation staff can provide core content-based activities on everything from the water cycle and food chains/webs to the use of mathematics in park operations to proper grammar and self-confidence through public speaking.

Owl prowling, teambuilding, archery, fishing, orienteering, nature hikes, scavenger hunts, historical tours, and environmental education activities...call us; we'll suit your educational needs! Our naturalist is a Kentucky certified environmental educator and our recreation assistant holds a degree in middle school education. Fees range from free to $5 per student.
