Lake Cumberland
State Resort ParkWith 50,250 acres of water and 1,225 miles of shoreline, Lake Cumberland is considered one of the finest fishing and boating areas in the Eastern United States.

Accommodations

Lure Lodge

 Standard rooms have two queen beds. Rooms have a balcony with a Lake view. Five accessible rooms have one queen bed; four of these also have a sleeper chair. One accessible room has a roll-in shower (and no tub). Main lodge has two floors with step access. Pool section has four floors with an elevator (or steps). Parking areas are not adjacent to most rooms. 

NOTE: Pool section rooms are an additional $5 per night above the standard Lure Lodge room.


Pumpkin Creek Lodge

13 total rooms: three floors with stairs and steps; five rooms on 2nd floor are wheelchair accessible. Four standard rooms with two double beds; one room with one queen bed; two rooms with two queen beds; three rooms with one queen size bed connecting with three rooms with one double bed, sofa, wet bar and a small private balcony. Parking areas are not adjacent to any room.

NOTE: 10 rooms do not have balconies or lake view. Rooms with wet bars/sofas/balconies are $5 additional per night above the standard Pumpkin Creek Lodge room. Rooms in both lodges have a bathroom with shower and tub, air conditioning, telephone, cable television, clock radio, coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. Non smoking rooms are available in both lodges.


Cottages

ONE BEDROOM COTTAGES: Cottages have a living room/kitchen/dining room combination, bedroom with one king size bed and a sleeper sofa, a screened-in porch with table/chairs and ceiling fan, air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave, cable television, telephone, iron/ironing board and a bathroom with hair dryer, shower and tub. A fire ring is located outside near each cottage. Cottages are set on hillsides with walkways and steps.

TWO BEDROOM COTTAGES: Four standard cottages have a living room/kitchen combination, sleeper sofa, bedrooms with one twin and one double bed in each, bathroom with shower and tub, and a screened-in porch with table/chairs. These cottages are set on hillsides and all have walkways and steps. Nine deluxe cottages have a living room with sleeper sofa, bedrooms with two double beds in each, separate kitchen with dining area, dishwasher, two bathrooms each with shower and tub, and an open deck. These cottages have short walkways with porch steps. One deluxe cottage is specially designed to be accessible: no entry steps, accessible kitchen (no dishwasher), only one (accessible) bathroom, no sleeper sofa, one bedroom with two double beds, the other with one twin and one double. All cottages have air conditioning, cable television, telephone, coffee makers, microwaves, iron/ironing board, hair dryers, and a fire ring located near the cottage.

WILDWOOD COTTAGES: Chalet style cottages set on hillsides with walkways and steps. Upstairs has two bedrooms, each with one queen bed, and a full bathroom. Downstairs has a half-bath, living room with sleeper sofa and fireplace, and kitchen. (Fireplace wood supplied in season.) All cottages have microwave, coffee maker, air conditioning, cable television, two telephones, iron/ironing board, and hair dryers. A fire ring is located outside near each cottage. One Wildwood is designed for easy accessibility, with an additional bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom on the lower level and a modified kitchen.

Accommodation Guidelines

  • Room/cottage rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes and are for up to the number of occupants specified (2 for lodge rooms and 1-bedroom cottages; 4 for 2-bedroom cottages). Each additional adult will be charged $10 per night; children 16 and under with immediate familymembers stay at no charge; children 16 and under (not immediate family) are $2.50 extra per night. Cribs available at no charge.
  • NOTE: An additional $10 will be added to all Friday and Saturday night rentals for the period of April 1 – October 31.
  • All rooms in Lure and Pumpkin Creek Lodges receive daily maid service. Daily maid service is not provided in cottages; towels are furnished daily, linens upon request. Basic cooking utensils and dishes are furnished in cottages.
  • Check in times are neither set nor guaranteed. Our goal is to have all accommodations available by 4:00 PM, Central Time, but circumstances beyond our control may prevent this in rare instances. Specific accommodations are not guaranteed, however, every effort will be made to honor your requests.
  • Fire codes do not permit cooking in any room or on balconies/porches in Lure or Pumpkin Creek Lodges nor is it allowed in Pumpkin Creek Lodge lobby or meeting room.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO PETS permitted in any room, cottage, or Lodges (with the exception of service animals). Extra charge for cleanup and/or damage repair may be levied or guests may be asked to vacate the accommodations.
  • Check out times: Rooms: 12 Noon; Cottages: 11 AM (Central Time). Additional charges may be levied for unapproved late checkouts.
