A Quick Peek

30 Lodge Rooms: 24 with double full size beds, 2 with one queen size bed, 4 with single king size bed. Renovated in 2006, all have private balcony overlooking the mountains. Multiple levels without elevators. Lodge rooms are complete with hair dryers, irons & ironing boards, coffee-maker, television, reading chair, all-purpose table, dresser and night stand. Amenities include: soap, shampoo & Bluegrass Blend Coffee.


20 Cottages/Cabins: 11 two-bedroom/2 bath cottages all renovated within the last 8 years (1999-2007). 9 one-bedroom rustic log cabins in mountain setting.
Key card entry for all accommodations.

Pets are not allowed (with the exception of service dogs).

Mountain View Restaurant

Dining facility located on second level of the lodge. Seats 100 people. Adjacent private dining room seats 20-25 people. Elevator available.

Private banquets or buffets available in meeting rooms.

Cookouts available at shelter.

Working lunches are available in meeting rooms.

Executive Chef Kevin McKee’s many talents include fruit and vegetable sculptures.

Dean Henson, Pine Mountain Naturalist writes feature articles for Back Home in KY, Blue Ridge Country and various other magazines.

Certified in CPR & First Aid, Project Wild, Archery and Project WET.
Educated at Eastern KY University and a member of the Association of Outdoor Photographers and Outdoor Writer’s Association.

Golf Scrambles or Shotguns. Pine Mountain State Resort Park is home to the championship 18-hole golf course Wasioto Winds, recently ranked by "Golf Digest" as the fourth best new public course in the nation. Designed by Michael Hurdzan, Ph.D., it's a links-style course in a valley between two mountains.

Wasioto Winds offers a pro shop with clubs and apparel, all-weather golf carts and an indoor training center, and golf packages are offered year round. We are proud to offer to our guests Titlist golf balls with your organization’s logos. On staff golf professionals at Wasioto Winds are available to assist your guests with instruction and tournaments. Wasioto Winds proudly hosts the First Tee of Pine Mountain, a youth development program.
