General Butler Lodge
The hilltop Butler Lodge is an attraction within itself. Listen to the piano and admire the Ohio River valley view. Each of the 53 rooms features a private balcony or patio overlooking the pool or hillside.
This hilltop resort is the essence of river town charm, featuring the warm glow of polished brass and rich woodwork. Rooms are available by late afternoon. Accommodation rates for groups of ten or more are available by contacting the park's sales representative.

One, two, three-bedroom cottages with one bath and two or three executive cottages with two baths are available. Tableware, cooking utensils, and linens are provided with fresh linens available daily. Accommodation rates for groups of ten or more are available by contacting the park's sales representative.
We welcome your group to enjoy our warm and inviting lobby with hardwood floors, oversized stone fireplaces and windows overlooking the vast forest. Our state-of-the-art conference center, just a few steps away from the lodge, accommodates group from 14 to over 700! A gas fireplace on one side of the center is a great cool weather addition, and a covered outdoor terrace graces the opposite end with spectacular views of the countryside.
General Butler is a centralized location combined with contemporary meeting facilities – and the ultimate – NATURE. We are conveniently located off of I-71 midway between Louisville & Cincinnati – your guests will not mind the short drive for their meeting at General Butler State Resort Park. No need to pay those high urban hotel prices. We have high speed wireless internet in all lodge rooms and conference center, as well as great cell phone service, for those guests needing to “stay connected”.

Engage our Recreation Staff through team building and networking activities by choosing a golf scramble, paddle boat race, or a corn-hole tournament. Try a croquet game on the lawn of our historic Butler-Turpin Historic House, consider a nature hike in between sessions – we’ll provide the bottled water and trail mix. Your guests will learn about each other and enjoy themselves at the same time!
