Cherokee State Park
Rich in history, Cherokee State Park was once the only
segregated state park for African-Americans in the
South and one of only three such parks in the United
States. Today, the original dining hall has been fully
restored as a modern 125-seat event/meeting facility with climate-controlled comfort. Patio,
overlook and gardens create the perfect area for family
reunions, wedding ceremonies or company retreats.
Located on the mid-west shore of Kentucky Lake, with the longest shoreline of any man-made lake in the eastern United States, Kenlake is the perfect spot to hold your event and enjoy the great outdoors.
