Yatesville Lake provides plenty of room to skim the waves or catch some rays in your favorite cruisecraft—be it a houseboat, pontoon, speed boat or jet ski. The Yatesville Marina offers everything boaters and fishers need for lake fun. Relax in the scenic lakeside setting of Yatesville Lake's campground. There are 27 campsites with utilities and 20 primitive sites - 16 'boat-in' sites and 4 'hike-in' sites, restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, and dump station. The "boat-in" sites are maintained by a service road and three restroom facilities are spaced alongside, but only your boat can get you to your site. The seclusion and the lakeside access are worth it! The 'hike-in' sites are in the regular campground but set back into the woods with no electricity. The setting pays off in communion with nature. Pets are allowed if restrained. Boat launching ramp nearby. Located in eastern KY on Blaine Creek, 6 mi W of Louisa. Construction of the dam was completed in 1991. The 2,242-acre lake offers boat ramps, with a state park campground. Towns in the area are Louisa and Blaine. For more information contact 606-686-2412 or 606-673-1492. Lake provides good fishing for bass, bluegill, and crappie.
