5th Annual Kentucky State Parks Race Series 2009
The 5th Annual Kentucky State Park Race Series will start April 4th with the Goose Creek 5K at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville. The Goose Creek 5K is the first of four state park races scheduled for 2009. Runners of all ages can take part in all four races to capture the overall championship based on a point system. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winner of each race and first and second place winners in each male and female age division. The grand prize winners, who must compete in all four races, will be named at the July 11th Magnolia 5K at Rough River Dam State Resort Park. All of those who run all four races will receive a certificate and be registered for a special giveaway prize.
Levels of Sponsorship
Official Race Series Event Co-Sponsor: $1,500 and up:
Logo on all printed materials (including race brochure that is distributed to an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 organizations, clubs, local business and the general public in Kentucky and surrounding states. Logo will be placed on event merchandise (i.e. T-shirts, flyers, etc). The name of the event will read KENTUCKY STATE PARKS RACE SERIES Co-sponsored by “YOUR COMPANY.” Your organization will also be entitled to all benefits of the lower levels.
Platinum: $1,000 - $1,499 (Individual Race Only)
Logo on all printed materials (i.e. T-shirts, flyers, etc) including Race Series event brochure (logo will be smaller than Official Race Series Co-Sponsor.) The name of the event will read (INDIVIDUAL RACE) Co-sponsored by “YOUR COMPANY.” Your organization will also be entitled to all benefits of the lower levels.
A member of your organization will have the honor of starting the race or event if you so choose.
Gold: $500 - $999
Logo on all printed materials including T-Shirts but does not include distributed race brochure. Your organization will also be permitted to fill runner’s packets with flyers, coupons and information about your organization and/or set-up a booth at the event to promote your business. Your organization will also be entitled to all benefits of the lower levels.
Silver: $100 - $499
Logo on T-Shirts and on the event sponsorship banner and your organization will also be permitted to fill runner’s packets with flyers, coupons and information about your organization.
Friends of the Event
Any type of door prizes such as coupons, hotel stays, dinners, gift certificates, candy, water, Gatorade, fruit or any materials needed to help put on the event or give comfort to the participants and their families are welcome. Your company will be recognized during the event and at the race awards ceremony.
