Many Kentucky State Parks serve alcoholic beverages at restaurants, golf courses and lounges. Below is a listing of the parks and settings where alcoholic beverages are served. (Please note the drinking age in Kentucky is 21 and over).
Barren River Lake State Resort Park, Lucas
Hours: May 1-Oct. 31: Sunday 4-10 p.m.; Monday–Thursday Noon-10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday Noon-11 p.m. Nov. 1-April 30: Wednesday through Sunday 4-10 p.m., closed Monday and Tuesday.
Highlands Pub has a big screen TV, outdoor patio area and offers food.
General Butler State Resort Park, Carrollton
Hours: Monday through Thursday 4-10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday 2-11 p.m.; Sunday 1-8 p.m.
General’s Quarters has four big screen TVs, food and Friday night music.
Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, Prestonsburg
Dewey’s Bar and Grill
Hours: Friday 5-11 p.m.; Saturday 5-11 p.m. (November-May) Noon-11 p.m. (Memorial Day-October); Sunday 1-9:30 p.m.; Monday-Thursday 5-10 p.m.
Comedy shows on first and third Thursdays of the month, live music on occasions, five TVs, pool table, scenic view of the lake and a large selection of Kentucky bourbons.
Lake Barkley State Resort Park, Cadiz
Hours: May through September: Daily 3-10 p.m. October through April, open Tuesday-Saturday from 3-10 p.m.
The Still has two big screen TVs, bourbon barrels and a (non-working) moonshine still.
Natural Bridge State Resort Park, Slade
Trails End Tavern
Hours: Tuesday through Friday 4-10 p.m.; Saturday 2–10 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Two TVs, appetizers and bourbon flights and live music on occasions.

Golf Courses (beer served at pro shops)
Barren River Lake State Resort Park: Enjoy a beverage on the porch with a view of the practice green.
Dale Hollow State Resort Park: Enjoy a cold beer at a covered pavilion overlooking the 18th green.
General Burnside Island State Park: Sit on the patio at the back of the pro shop and enjoy the view of No. 18 and Lake Cumberland.
John James Audubon State Park: Sit on our porch with tables and umbrellas with a view of the No. 1 tee box and No. 9 green.
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park: Sit on the covered porch with a view of the first tee.
Lake Barkley State Resort Park: Enjoy a cold beverage on our covered patio with a view of Blue Springs and the 18th hole.
Mineral Mound State Park: Have a cold beverage on a covered deck overlooking the 18th hole.
My Old Kentucky Home State Park: Visit our covered porch with rocking chairs and a view of the No. 1 tee, and the 9th and 18th greens. Happy hours during the summer that include golf discounts.
Pine Mountain State Resort Park: Sit under a large covered deck with fans and enjoy a cold drink.
