Learn of the incredible journey Monarch Butterflies take as they migrate south for the winter! Meet in the Friends of Audubon Meeting Room for an indoor presentation about these beautiful creatures. Then take part in citizen-science, as we caravan to a site of outdoor Monarch tagging. (Attendees will use their own transportation.) Tags and butterfly nets will be provided. We’ll show you how it’s done! Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, prepare for weedy/marshy conditions, and bring a water bottle. If adverse weather prevents outdoor tagging, program will be cancelled. Please watch our Facebook page for announcements.
