About the Course

Mineral Mound Golf CourseThis peaceful setting on the shores of Lake Barkley is historically linked to the author F. Scott Fitzgerald. The property was once the farm of Willis B. Machen, grandfather of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald. It's not hard to imagine the serene, Gatsby-style era from this park, with idyllic days of playing golf and cruising the lake.

You need imagine no longer; the park now has a challenging 18-hole, par-72 golf course! The front 9 holes are flanked by lake views, while the back 9 holes are surrounded by a forest. A pro shop offers rental carts, clubs and golf merchandise. The park also has a picnic area, a courtesy dock and a boat ramp.

The front 9 holes are situated along the lake with the No. 2 playing over a lake inlet. The back 9 offers beautiful forest views. The No. 13 hole offers long uphill shot making.
