Description
Along the banks of the Ohio River just north of Henderson, KY, John James Audubon State Park houses the world's largest collection of Audubon artifacts and offers exhibits on the artist's life. Let the art of America’s premier 19th-century naturalist accent your next group function. The meeting room, located in the lower level of the John James Audubon Museum and Nature Center also serves as a regional art gallery. A guided tour of the Museum and team-building activities on the Challenge Course are the perfect complements to your business event.

The conference room at John James Audubon combines an incredible outdoor environment with interior museum, art gallery and nature center. The 1,556, square foot conference room can accommodate 200 guests lecture-style without tables and 80-110 people classroom style with tables. For a unique experience, schedule the Challenge Course, a combination of activities designed to develop self-confidence and team awareness. The course is available for groups and must be scheduled through the park naturalist.
SCHOOL & GROUP TRIPS
Bring your group on a field trip they’ll remember! Here at John James Audubon State Park, our classrooms extend into the surrounding woodlands as we interpret art and nature through the eyes of America’s premier artist and naturalist, John James Audubon.
A wide variety of art and nature programming is available to assist teachers in meeting core curriculum requirements for the classroom, plus we offer badge workshops and skills for Scout troops. We can provide speakers for educational interests of your club or civic organization, as well.
Special Audubon Museum school group tours can be arranged for specific interests and age levels.
Picnic shelters and playgrounds can be reserved for lunch breaks during your student's visit.
The Museum and Nature Center are open daily from mid-March through December (except major holidays) and Wednesday-Sunday from January through mid-March.

Other Programming: Artist Retreats, Teacher Workshops, Scout Workshops, Low-Ropes Challenge Course, etc., are subject to special fees.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS
We can bring a program to you! Our education staff can visit your school, organization meeting, nursing home, etc., within a 20-mile radius of John James Audubon State Park. Outreach program fees are $2 per person, with a minimum cost of $50 per program. Minimum of two groups required for art outreach programs, and additional materials fees may apply. For outreach requests more than 20 miles from the park, additional travel fees may be assessed. Park staff cannot travel beyond a 30-mile radius for programming.
