You will be on the creek for about 3.5 hours. The park can provide canoes or kayaks, paddles, life vest, transportation shuttle from and back to the Welcome Center, and guides for your trip down the creek. Paddlers have the option to bring their own kayaks for the trip. Participants should have some paddle experience before signing up for these trips. Along the way we will see high cliff sides and the natural beauty that the spring has to offer. We will also take a side trip into one of Kentucky’s largest natural limestone tunnels. Required equipment includes; the correct attire for cool weather paddling, a complete change of clothes, treaded footwear, flashlight (for natural tunnel visit), sack lunch, bottled water and a dry bag for your supplies. The cost is $40 per person using our canoe/kayaks and $30 per person using their own kayaks. Limited space available, pre-registration is required. Participants meet at the Welcome Center at 9:30am. We will load your kayaks on our trailer at the Welcome Center then head for the put-in point. This trip can be canceled due to high/low water levels and/or extreme weather conditions.
