CALL: 270-388-3673 This peaceful setting, just south of Eddyville, Kentucky, on the shores of Lake Barkley is historically linked to the author F. Scott Fitzgerald. The featured property was once the farm of Willis B. Machen, grandfather of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald. It’s not hard to imagine the serene, Gatsby-style era from this park, with idyllic days of playing golf and cruising the lake.

Situated along the shores of Lake Barkley, Mineral Mound State Park Golf Course is a great place to spend the day and present a challenge to all level of players. The front 9 holes offer beautiful lake views with several holes flanked by water. The No. 2 plays over a lake inlet.  The back 9 offers views of hills and forests. The No. 13 hole includes a long uphill shot requiring some skill. The facility has a magnificent new golf shop that offers scenic views from atop a hill overlooking Lake Barkley. Public boat ramp and picnic areas are available to enjoy a day of relaxation and enjoyment. In 2009 Golf Digest magazine ranked the Mineral Mound State Park Golf Course No. 5 of the "Best Courses You Can Play."
