The Dam Triathlon

Rough River Dam State Resort Park
Rough River Dam State Resort Park teams up with the US Army Corps of Engineers and major event sponsor The Friends of Rough River to hold the annual "The Dam Triathlon".  Starting at Rough River Beach, contestants paddle 7.2 miles, then bike 9.6 miles, and finish with 2.2 mile run/walk.  Individual times kept and trophies awarded.  For more information including entry fees go to www.friendsofroughriver.org

Calvert City's Kentucky Lake Outdoors will have their top-of-the-line kayaks for you to try out ... FREE of charge! Join us at the "Old Beach" to try your hand at paddling some kayaks! The "Old Beach" is located next to the Conference Center.
