If you're looking for a naturalist-led hike, this event at John James Audubon State Park might be just for you.

Celebrate National Trails Day with a Twilight Hike on Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. Join park naturalists for a guided 2.1-mile trek through the nature preserve as daylight fades. The route includes moderate terrain, hills, and a staircase, offering a unique opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of the forest at dusk.

This program is well-suited for families, casual hikers, and those looking for a peaceful evening outdoors.

Participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight. The group will meet at the Warbler Road trailhead near the Welcome Center.

Admission is $5 (cash only at the gate). No pets, please. The event will be canceled in the event of rain.

Whether you're exploring an old favorite, discovering somewhere new, or joining a guided hike, you’ll be part of a nationwide celebration of trails, health, and connection to the outdoors.
