You don’t have to leave the park to find great local dining! Experience a variety of delicious selections at a Kentucky State Park restaurant located at each of the resort park lodges. From Kentucky Hot Brown and fried catfish to our famous banana pudding and chef specialties, enjoy a great view of the park while you enjoy a meal. We serve Kentucky Proud products, including Kentucky beer, wine, and liquor, at many of the park locations.

What kind of food is offered at Kentucky State Park restaurants? 

• Our restaurants offer a variety of options, from salads and sandwiches to salmon, steak, catfish, and a variety of appetizers. You’ll also find Kentucky specialties, like the Kentucky Hot Brown (an open-faced sandwich with ham, roasted turkey, topped with cheese sauce, bacon, tomato, and cheddar cheese). Some parks even offer buffet-style dining. 

Do you have to stay at the lodge to dine at the restaurants? 

• No, all park visitors are welcome to dine at our onsite restaurants! 

What hours are the restaurants open? 

• Hours vary by park and season, so it’s best to call ahead before visiting.

Are reservations required? 

• Reservations are not required, but guests are encouraged to call ahead to ensure operational hours and availability info. 

Do the park restaurants serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner? 

• Some restaurants are open for all three meals, while others are just open for lunch and dinner. Call ahead to confirm at the park you plan to visit.
