- Visitors can launch kayaks, canoes, and other personal watercraft from public boat ramps and kayak launches found within the state parks.
Are life jackets required?
- All paddlers must have a Coast Guard-approved life jacket aboard their watercraft, and anyone below the age of 12 is required to wear one at all times.
Do Kentucky State Parks offer wheelchair accessible?
- Paintsville Lake State Park has a wheelchair accessible kayak launch deck as well as an accessible fishing boardwalk next to the campground.
