Kentucky State Park lodges are the perfect accommodations for your next nature excursion. Whether you’re gliding across the water in a pontoon boat or Jet Ski, trekking along miles of trails through the beautiful Bluegrass wilderness, or getting an up-close view of breathtaking natural wonders, such as Cumberland Falls and Natural Bridge, our lodges offer relaxing quarters to retire to after an exciting day of exploring.

What kind of accommodations are available?

• Kentucky’s 17 resort parks boast a variety of lodging options, from hotel-style lodge rooms and cottages to cabins and villas. Campsites are also available.

How do I book a lodge room or cabin? Can I book online, by phone, or in person?

• Guests can book lodge reservations online. Be aware of seasonal openings, as some properties are only open on certain days during the winter months.

What time is check-in and check-out?

• Check-in is generally late afternoon, with check-out at 11 a.m. for lodge rooms and 10 a.m. for cottages at most properties.

Can I modify my reservation after booking? What is the cancellation policy?

• If you need to cancel or alter your reservation, call the property directly.

Are there minimum stay requirements?

• Some parks, including Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park and General Butler State Resort Park, require a minimum two-night stay for cottage rentals.

Are accessible rooms available?

• Yes, each resort park has a limited number of accessible rooms available. Call the parks directly for accessibility information and details.

Are Lodges pet-friendly?

• Yes, Kentucky state resort park properties are pet-friendly. No more than two pets are allowed per room, and pets must never be left unattended. A $50 pet fee will be added to your reservation. Review the pet policy before your stay. 

Do rooms include Wi-Fi, TVs, or kitchenettes?

• Many units and rooms offer modern amenities, like Wi-Fi, TVs, and kitchenettes, but this varies by property. Be sure to check online or call ahead before you book.

Are there restaurants or dining options onsite?

Are the lodges open year-round?

• Most resort park accommodations are open year-round, but some only offer weekend bookings in the winter. Call the resort parks if you’re planning to visit in the winter months to check availability.
